My playroom is unique place for children to simply 'be.' All of my 'toys' in here are carefully chosen tools to help externalize the inner psyche of the children. The playroom allows safety to express scary things, ask for needs to be met, and grow confidence. In this picture you see more or less of my playroom now. Kiddos need consistency. As such, every tool has its place on the shelves, in drawers, etc. Privacy is provided via the privacy film on my wonderful window, sound dampening panels on both sides of the wall separating playroom and waiting room, and a sound machine as an added bonus in the waiting room. Parents can enjoy coffee and tea while perusing my suggested reading books in my cozy waiting room.
